#7 - Conversation with Josh Wolfe aka real life Tony Stark
Announcing "How I Started" an #ABL podcast series discussing the "0 to 1" stories of the most amazing people on the planet.
“The man who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones.” ― Confucius
This quote is one of my favorite quotes as it reminds me the power of small steps, which when taken consistently can move mountains. Today, I am really excited to present something I have been working on for quite some time.
Do you ever wish that you could ask the most successful people about how they got started?
Well, I did and so I tried finding answers. Good news! I got lucky and now, I am ready to share some amazing stories. With all the success, these people are now larger than life but everyone started with that first step.
Presenting, How I Started
An #ABL podcast series discussing the "0 to 1" stories of the most amazing people on the planet.
In this episode, I have the legendary investor Josh Wolfe sharing his wisdom on business, entrepreneurship, and life.
Without further ado, here is the conversation on Spotify and Apple podcasts.
Or find it on Google podcasts, Stitcher, Overcast, and others. You can also download directly from here.
About Josh
Josh is a person I admire both personally and professionally. I remember sitting in my car in the parking lot for 90 minutes when I heard him on a podcast for the first time. I had to stop what I was doing and start paying full attention and taking notes.
I admire Josh both for his humble and authentic approach to talk about business, technology, and human nature. I share a lot of common interests with Josh like reading books and the skepticism of human nature :)
Josh’s professional bio
Josh Wolfe is the co-founder and managing partner at Lux capital.
Lux capital invests in emerging science and technology ventures which are commonly referred to as the deep sciences. So, think of artificial intelligence, flying robots, 3D printing, synthetic biology, satellites, drones and so much more.
Apart from serving on the board of many amazing companies Josh is also a columnist with Forbes. He has been invited to the White House and the Capitol Hill to advise on many emerging technologies. He is also the co-founder and chairman of the Coney Island prep charter school.
Getting to talk to him 1:1 was amazing and the conversation was better than I ever could have hoped for, and has so many golden nuggets for people who are wondering how to get started!
Enjoy the big knowledge drop!
P.S. You might need to adjust volume after the first few minutes.
I love you all, keep going!
